To be honest, it won't be quite the same without Adam Levine blasting out of my smart board speakers as I casually prepare the room for Monday. But we could partake in all the other super fun social activities of my day...
We could
We could
We could
We could
And we could enjoy the fresh smell of brand new crayons together!!!
I'm not embarrassed to say that my excitement of the new crayons is probably what is getting me out of bed on Monday morning when my alarm goes off at 4:40am.
please......excuse me......just a minute......

Okay!
So to kick off the first morning of 2013 with my kiddos I made a freebie for us all!
Just click the picture to download yourself a copy. I run these back to back each day.
Even if you already had to go back, this will fit right in any time you like in January!
And while you are in the clicking mood, here are this week's lesson plans. Just click to open and then click anything that looks interesting to you to be taken to where it came from.
Have a great weekend! Best of luck on Monday!
Oh I just love reading your posts... 'dreamsquashing' haha! I am loving your room all ready and organized for a new year. Good luck on Monday!

Your post was hilarious (and so true)! I'm a closet crayon lover myself. There is nothing better than a brand new box of pointy crayons! My students get a new box at the beginning of each new trimester. It definitely excites me more than them!

I had the wailing and sobbing on Tuesday, we are back in below zero weather, it is supposed to warm up to the teens next week. I love your morning work, I purchased it this fall, we do it every morning. Your posts are always so fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.

This was such a fun post to read! It made me smile all the way through. I would love to come be your BFF cheerleader for the day! I am sure I could learn so much from your teaching!
ReplyDeleteNew crayons smell the best! They smell just a bit sweeter when they only cost a penny during the back to school sales though!
I love your freebie but I just had a quick question. Could you possibly make one with a blank year or do you plan on re-making the freebie next year? I would love to use it then!

I second Sharon, your visual lesson plans are amazing! I have already made the idea my own and I love it! And I'm hoping to use the snowman bulletin board idea in my own classroom. It's just too cute not to use! Thanks for all the great ideas!
