Dr. MLK Jr. Day!

We made our MLK Jr. writing and art project this week!

Today we wrote and created our very own MLK Jrs!  I am dying!  I love them so much!  They are the sweetest class!

Click Here see this project pack.

We didn't have any snow days or weather and we have a teacher workday on Monday with no students.  Do you get the day off?  Did weather change that for you?  Are you going in for a workday like me?  I am so curious!!
Have a great Friday!

  1. LOVE these...we're going to be making an MLK craftivity on Monday since it's not a workday..and we have our ;)

  2. We dismissed early on Tuesday for flooding, out Wednesday for flooding, dismissed early Thursday for snow, out Friday for snow. Oh & I took a personal day Monday & we get Monday off. No work. {All that sounded bad......just wanted to share my crazy.....not brag} Love the activity, we will be doing MLKjr on Tuesday. Thanks for sharing your activity!!

  4. Those came out so cute! Your class did a great job! I love the individuality! Their dreams are too precious!

  5. Hi Dear One!
We have no school on Monday in honor of MLK Jr. The weather forecast for tomorrow is 75 degrees, so we'll be there. No snow, sleet, rain, floods or famine. They cancel school for us only, ummm, well, never... no, wait, once a few years ago when much of southern California lost power. Other than that, we ALWAYS have school!

    Adorable work--as always!

  6. The MLK writing activity is terrific. I saw it too late to use this year. We are out of school on Monday, no professional development or anything. Yes!

  7. Love these Reagan! Each one has their own personality. They are such a fun age to teach equality and are simply stunned to hear how things were (and kinda still are:(
We are off Monday so the long weekend ahead. Enjoy your teacher work day-jez that sounds so wrong!

  8. This is adorable! We are out on Monday for Dr. MLK, JR. then we are out on Tuesday and Wednesday for mandated workdays and, Friday, we go two hours late-yay~! However, I have bus duty and I so need the extra time to work in my room. Boo hoo!

  9. We were out Tuesday and Wednesday for flooding. Then we got out early Thursday for snow and no school today for snow. The weather has been crazy. Then we're out Monday for the holiday. I had planned to do MLK all last week but it hasn't worked out. I need to do science fair stuff next week.
